Scorpion Seduction Mug

An ode to the season, this mug is suited for the Scorpio soul or scorpion lover.

The mug body was thrown on the wheel with rich golden stoneware clay. Once firm enough to work, it was trimmed then joined with a hand-sculpted scorpion handle and psychedelic swirls. 

After slowly drying, the mug was fired, finished with glazes then fired twice more. It features precious 22 karat gold details. 

Scorpions symbolize power, guardianship, control and defensiveness. They are a potent reminder to create boundaries in your life and remove people or situations that are harmful to you. The scorpion is generally gentle and does not sting unless threatened. Call upon scorpion energy when you find yourself needing protection.
