This elephant was lovingly hand-sculpted in 16 hours from a ball of white stoneware clay. Once dry, Opal Matriarch was fired in the kiln until porous and hard. Next, she was hand-painted with glossy glaze then fired three times more.
No detail was spared. Opal Matriarchs third eye is crowned with an authentic 4.4 carat Australian opal that beams rainbows in the light. Her eyes and tusks are adorned with precious 22 carat gold. From every angle, Opal Matriarch glows.
