An earthy red mug featuring a white serpent, moss and amanita mushrooms.
The mug body was thrown on the pottery wheel with a ball of red stoneware clay, then joined with a handcrafted serpent handle. The serpent was nestled into sculpted mushrooms and moss then left to dry slowly. It was glazed and fired in the kiln twice.
The outside of the mug is exposed, raw clay. The inside and serpent handle are coated in white satin white glaze.
The serpent symbolizes surrender, release, death and rebirth. In order to survive, serpents must routinely shed what keeps them from growing and no longer serves. Serpent energy is an empowering and comforting ally to lean on in times of transition and uncertainty.
Dimensions:
Holds 10.5 ounces | 315 milliliters
4 inches | 10 centimeters tall
5.5 inches | 13.5 centimeters wide (including handle)
