One of the artists favorites of this collection. An extravagant, suspended home for a small-medium houseplant. There are details to admire from every angle!
The planter was thrown on the wheel with tan, speckled stoneware clay. After being trimmed, it was covered in hand-sculpted mushrooms and moss. It was dried slowly then fired in the kiln twice.
The serpents third eyes are crowned with genuine opals that bathed in the healing light of the full moon.
The outside is raw, exposed clay and the inside is coated in glossy, glass-like glaze. This planter has drainage holes and is hung with braided black, 100% cotton yarn.
The serpent symbolizes surrender, release, death and rebirth. In order to survive, serpents must routinely shed what keeps them from growing and no longer serves. Serpent energy is an empowering and comforting ally to lean on in times of transition and uncertainty.
