A sacred shrine for ritual, prayer and offerings. Featuring tasteful spaces for one tapered stick candle, two tea light candles and back-flow incense cones. This piece is a celebration of Divine Feminine Energy and the Mother archetype.
The faerie mother was hand-sculpted with dark, brown stoneware. The shrine she sits upon was constructed with slabs of the same clay. Over the course of six days, her space was decorated with mushrooms, hand-carved details, and psychedelic swirls.
After slowly drying, the shrine was fired in the kiln, glazed and fired twice more. Some of the details are adorned in precious 22 karat gold. Her wings are coated in a pearlescent, shimmery glaze.
The runes above the faeries head symbolize some of the powerful qualities of Divine Feminine Energy and Mother. In front of her is the sacred Flower of Life, which represents the birth and expansion of all living things.
